Our on-site laboratory works with our providers to provide accurate, cost-effective results for patients.

The immediate tests and lab technologist support available through our laboratory aid allow People’s providers to diagnose and treat patients quickly and with greater convenience for patients.

The People’s lab began in 1975 with in-house tests to help providers diagnose patients. Today the number of tests available has grown and many tests are performed on site with some off-site by referral. The lab makes all efforts to provide any test needed by any People’s provider at the best possible cost, whether through discounting a service or offering it through a funded program. Laboratory services are also provided to patients of our off-site clinics including the LifeWorks Street Outreach Clinic.
