Celebrating 50 Years

This year is BIG for People’s Community Clinic. In 2020, People’s marks 50 years of providing affordable, accessible health care to Central Texans in need.

That’s 50 years of serving Central Texas communities with dignity and respect; 50 years of collaborating with other area non-profits for integrative care; 50 years of working for #healthequity and #affordablecare in Central Texas!

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating 50 years of compassionate, inclusive health care for Central Texans in need by sharing a story, attending an event, or donating to support People’s programs and services.

50 for 50 Story Project

People’s 50 for 50 story project shares the personal stories of 50 Central Texans whose lives have been touched by the clinic. Throughout 2020 we’ll be posting a new narrative each week, telling the tale of People’s through the voices of our community.

Have your own story? We’d love to hear from you! Contact Monica Simmons to share your story at Monica.simmons@austinpcc.org

Support Affordable Health Care

People’s has been providing high quality, affordable health care for uninsured and medically underserved Central Texans since 1970. You can help make sure the clinic will be here for another 50 years by making a donation today.

To celebrate 50 years, consider a donation in the order of “5”— $15 to vaccinate against the flu, $25 to vaccinate against measles or $50 to provide an ultrasound for an expecting mother.

Every dollar you give helps provide crucial medical and wellness services to those who may go without.
