Laboratory Services

Our on-site laboratory works with our providers to provide accurate, cost-effective results for patients.  The immediate tests and lab technologist support available through our laboratory aid allow PCC’s providers to diagnose and treat patients quickly, and with greater convenience for patients.

The PCC lab began with James Seehafer, a Clinic employee since 1975.  James began doing in-house tests to help providers diagnose patients.Today the number of tests available has grown, with sixteen types of tests performed on site, and others available offsite by referral. The lab makes all efforts to provide any test needed by any PCC provider at the best possible cost, whether through discounting a service or offering it through a funded program. Laboratory services are also provided to patients of our off-site clinics including the American YouthWorks clinic and the Lifeworks Street Outreach Clinic.
