Louis Appel, MD, MPH, serves as Director of Pediatrics at People’s Community Clinic in Austin, Texas, and as President of the Texas Pediatric Society. A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Appel received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and obtained his Masters of Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, with a concentration in public management and community health. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
