Dr. Jina Mariano is a compassionate dentist with more than seven years of experience in community and public health dentistry. She has served the patients and families of People’s for the past four years. She is deeply committed to improving access to high-quality oral health care for underserved populations.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dr. Mariano earned her first dental degree in 2010 and later graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2018 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Her passion for public health dentistry was shaped by her experiences participating in dental outreach programs and mission trips in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Texas, and California. These experiences reinforced her belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate, comprehensive, and quality oral health care.
Dr. Mariano’s approach to dentistry is grounded in evidence-based care, continuous learning, prevention, and patient education. A patient-first approach that recognizes the important connection between oral health and overall health. She is passionate about reducing barriers to dental care and making a meaningful difference in the health and lives of her patients and community- one patient, one smile, and one community at a time.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, crafting, and listening to music.
