Giving Tuesday 2019

The holiday shopping season starts earlier and earlier each year. By mid-November you’re already burnt out on ads, deals, and stuff. That’s why we love Giving Tuesday! #Givingtuesday is the day people across the globe take a brief break from holiday shopping to give back to the causes they care about.

People’s Community Clinic was founded by volunteer doctors and nurses in 1970, and we still rely on generous community support to this day. It really does take a village to ensure we can provide the highest quality care to anyone who needs it, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. We have a whole community helping make it happen.

Giving Tuesday is November 27, 2019. How will you give back this year?

VOLUNTEER

People’s offers volunteer opportunities year round. Our volunteers do all kinds of things to help our patients! Some volunteers provide translation services, some read to children through our Reach out and Read program, some work in our Center for Adolescent Health, and so much more! Click here for information on volunteering with People’s Community Clinic.

DONATE SUPPLIES

People’s Community Clinic accepts donations of certain new, unexpired medical supplies. We are also always in need of gently used children’s books for our Reach out and Read program.

MAKE A GIFT

Donating is the easiest way to make an impact. Every dollar goes to support the programs and services our patients rely on. Your gift will help provide primary care—things like flu shots, check-ups, and sonograms—to Central Texans who may not otherwise have access.

See what your gift can do for People’s patients:

$30

(the cost of a new sweater) can provide a grandmother’s flu shot.

$100

(the costs of that new gadget you’ve been eyeing) can provide sonograms for two pregnant mothers.

$10 Monthly Gift

(the same as your monthly streaming service) can provide the HPV vaccine to protect a teen against cervical cancer for life.
