ANGIE & MOCHI

Howdy! I’m participating in People’s February 5k to raise funds for the clinic’s important work providing high-quality healthcare services to Central Texans in need. I’ll be taking brisk walks around my neighborhood with my furry pal, Mochi, who really needs to get out more and touch grass. She didn’t necessarily choose the pampered life; the pampered life chose her!

My goal is to raise $250 by the end of February. I hope you can help me and Mochi get there by making a donation.

Thanks and Gig ‘Em!

CAMPBELL & FRIENDS

I am participating in the February 5K with my friend to support heart health and raise funds for People’s Community Clinic! Our favorite place to walk is in our local neighborhood park. My goal is to raise $150 and recruit as many friends as possible to participate.

EMILY

My name is Emily, and I’m running for the people in my community who don’t have health insurance.

If my fundraising efforts can help just one person have an issue addressed by the staff at People’s Community Clinic, be it access to a month’s worth of insulin, a vaccination shot, or a therapy session, then it will all be worth it.

So come along for the run! Even $1 can make a difference.

EMMA & ARTIE

Emma & Artie are devoted to their careers as two of the neighborhood’s best-loved dogs. They are committed to raising awareness and supporting People’s Community Clinic. This dynamic duo will be running the 5K on their favorite trail and want to encourage all their pup friends to register for the February 5K!

JOY

Joy is an avid walker and very excited about People’s February 5K.  Joy has been working for People’s for nearly 15 years and loves the clinic’s mission of providing health care for families in need. She’ll be walking with her rambunctious pooches on their favorite trails. She would love for you to join them!

MATT

Matt Balthazar brings extensive healthcare leadership experience to People’s Community Clinic, having held roles at Goodside Health, CommUnity Care, and Seton Healthcare Family. He serves on the Community Advisory Board for Helping Hands Home, holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Health Administration from Texas State University.

NADINE & FAMILY

I’m participating in People’s February 5k! I’ll be walking/running with Tim, Benji & Philly, and Dylan & Luna around Lady Bird Lake each week to raise funds for high-quality, affordable health care for Central Texans with little or no health insurance. My goal is to raise $1,00 by the end of February, and I hope you will support me by making a gift today.

SANDRA & ENZO

This will be my 5th 5K in less than one year since my journey back since being diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Enzo plays such a big role in making sure I’m active enough for him. I’m excited to complete this challenge to help support healthcare services to our communities in need. Help us reach our goal or join us in supporting the community!

TIM

I’m joining People’s February 5k to support access to high-quality, affordable health care for Central Texans with little or no health insurance. I’ll be jogging a few miles around Lady Bird Lake with my family and dogs—not breaking any records but helping make a meaningful impact for our community. If you’re inclined to support a great cause (rather than my athletic performance), I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

TERRI

VERONICA & SUNNY

Veronica considers herself an indoor person. She’s happiest crocheting a new project or tending to her Animal Crossing island, usually while binge-watching the latest Netflix series or listening to her favorite podcast, with Sunny the pug napping on her favorite pillow.

This year, she’s stepping outside her comfort zone. Veronica is committing to walking this 5K alongside Sunny to spend more time outdoors and support a cause close to her heart: improving access to healthcare for all people living in Central Texas. Every step is a reminder that even small, intentional choices can help create healthier communities for everyone.
