The nurse practitioner collaborates with a case manager and psychiatrist at Phoenix House and consults with the lead adolescent physician at People’s Community Clinic to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
The Phoenix House in Austin is part of a nationwide program that provides comprehensive drug and alcohol rehabilitation to adolescents while helping them catch up academically. Texas operates residential facilities in Austin and Dallas as well as an outpatient treatment center in Houston.
