Immunization Program

At present, no system has been established to ensure that all Austin children complete the recommended immunization series by their second birthday. Therefore, it is critical for healthcare providers to use ever opportunity to provide the necessary vaccinations.

The PCC Immunization Program provides immunizations for children and young adolescents, with special emphasis on accelerating interventions to improve the immunization coverage of children 2 years of age or younger. Approximately 75% of the immunizations given by the clinic are for children 0-6 years, with almost 50% given to children 0-2.

Walk-In Clinics

In addition to the vaccinations administered to our regular patients, the Immunization Program also conducts a Walk-in Immunization Clinics for patients and non – PCC patients. During our Walk-in Immunization Clinics we offer free routine immunizations for individuals 18 years of age or younger who do not have medical insurance or whose medical insurance does not cover immunizations. (We do accept Medicaid & CHIP). Please call 708-3199 for the weekly schedule.
