Austin Chronicle Best Of 2006
The People's Community Clinic was voted in as "Best Public Health Care" in the 2006 Reader's Poll
The People's Community Clinic received a 2006 Reader's Poll Award from the Austin Chronicle for being the "Best Public Health Care" destination in Austin. This is not the first time that the Clinic has been recognized by the Chronicle's annual Best Of awards, and we are honored that Austin continues to vote us in. Thanks, Central Texas, for this affirmation of our work!

Best Public Health Care: People's Community Clinic
(Readers Poll, Services, 2006)
Courteous service. A sliding scale. People who care. Since 1970, the folks at the People's Community Clinic
have been providing quality health care services to the people of Austin, even if those people are without
insurance or a lot of money. This nonprofit clinic is one of the places uniquely Austin, and we are lucky
to have it.
