7th Annual P4P Games and Silent Auction
...a fun time was had by all!
Another year of wacky fun for a cause has come to a close, and its success is thanks to many caring and active Austinites that we certainly want to thank!
The People4People Kickoff Party, Silent Auction and Games garnered more
than $36,000 this year to support the
People's Community Clinic's efforts to provide quality, continuous healthcare to more than 11,000 uninsured and underinsured Central Texans. To date, more than 85 teams have competed in the People4People Games, raising more than $430,000 for the Clinic.
Volunteers, committee members and team members worked hard and had fun,
and it all combined to make this a really memorable event this year. Special
thanks to the Texas Rollergirls
for acting as squad managers and keeping everyone in line, and to our exceptional
emcees Chip Queso
and Vendetta
von Dutch. We are proud to be associated with so many great people,
and grateful that you would commit your time, enthusiasm and energy to the
Clinic.
