30th Anniversary Beneficiaries
The Austin American-Statesman has chosen People's Community Clinic and the Austin Literacy Coalition as beneficiaries of their 30th Anniversary Capitol 10,000 Race.

A Great Reason to Run
This year’s Capitol 10,000 beneficiaries, People’s Community Clinic and the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas, are teaming up to boost the health of our community with an improved health literacy action plan.
Together the Clinic and the Literacy Coalition will work toward:
o Development of health care materials for those struggling with literacy
o Training community members as patient advocates
o Creation of effective communication tools to help patients understand
what their health issue is, why it’s important, and what they can
do about it.
It’s about your health.
Ask Early. Ask Often.
