"There's No Such Thing as a Free Cocktail"
The Young Professionals for People’s (YPP) is a group of up and coming professionals from the Austin area that comes together to support People’s Community Clinic. YPP holds quarterly happy hours at fabulous locations around Austin. Based on the concept of PCC’s annual “There’s no such thing as a free lunch” Luncheon, YPP’s “There’s no such thing as a free cocktail” Happy Hours are free to attend. We hope that happy hour attendees will join YPP or make a contribution to the clinic. YPP members give $120 per year to PCC, all at once or in monthly installments of $10.
YPP launched in September with a happy hour at the stylish 6th Street home of the late David Graeber, pioneering Austin architect and downtown denizen. Thanks to YPP’s partnership with DEN Property Group, YPP members and guests were granted access to this one-of-a-kind luxury home as they mingled and networked. Save the date for our next happy hour on Thursday December 8th, to be held in a penthouse at the W Residences in downtown Austin (pictured above). Special thanks to Stratus Properties for allowing us the use of this exclusive space, and to Hotel San José for donating a one-night stay at their hip South Congress location, to be raffled off at the event.
