Clinic Receives Community Service Award
Award Recognizes Clinic's Longtime Service to Hispanic Community
On Thursday, September 25, 2008, at its 10th Annual Community Service Awards, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce presented People's Community Clinic with this year's Non-Profit Leadership Award. This year's award recognizes a non-profit organization that dedicates time, energy and resources to making Austin a better place to live by educating the community on health initiatives. CEO Regina Rogoff accepted the award at a lunchtime ceremony at the downtown Sheraton Hotel.
