PCC Mourns Mark Ritter - It was with great sadness that we learned that our friend and supporter Mark
Ritter had passed away on March 9, 2008. Mark had served on People's Community Clinic Board of Directors since 2005 and was a
member of the Board's Finance Committee. He embodied the qualities that the Clinic aspires to--respect for others, commitment
to community, and a love of life. We will sorely miss Mark and his generosity of spirit.
An Austin native, Mark Ritter earned his B.S. in business at St. Edward’s University in 1959. He worked with the accounting firms of Touche Ross & Company, Lanier Locke & Ritter and Deloitte Haskins & Sells, and when Maxwell Locke & Ritter was formed in 1991, Mark was a name shareholder.
In addition to his service on People’s Community Clinic’s Board of Directors he was an active supporter of the Austin Community Foundation, St. Edward’s University, and the YMCA, among others. Mark is survived by his wife Agnes, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Leslie, son David, and grandchildren Christopher and Caroline.
