About Our Clinic
Tell Us Your PCC Story
40 years…what a trip! People’s Community Clinic was founded by volunteer nurses and doctors in 1970. At that time the Clinic was the People’s Free Clinic, and was open only a couple of nights a week. Patients would line up around the block and often the Clinic didn’t end until well after midnight. Today the Clinic is open four days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How did we get here from that early beginning? You tell us. Were you ever a Clinic patient or employee? Do you just have a great story about interacting with the Clinic? If you do, we want to hear it. All you have to do is fill in the information below and hit send. We'll get back to you with more information about the project. Thanks for sharing your story!
Details: The Clinic is looking for pieces of our history. You can help us fill in the blanks by sharing your part of the trip. We will be selecting stories on an ongoing basis to tell on our website and in other areas to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. You can see some of those stories on the Storytelling page or read more about the Clinic's history.
